Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Process Control Engineer to work in Al-Khobar, SA

Responsible for the development of Process Control requirements for projects which includes: Control and Operating Philosophy, Cause and Effects charts, Process Control Narratives, HAZOP and general control requirements Be responsible for the co-ordination and progress of process control design for one or more projects, as assigned. Liaise with Suppliers' representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects. Liaise with Suppliers' representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects. arryout Dynamic Simulation Studies. Provide technical support to sales activities. Provide consultancy after contract award with Client in assessing or assisting in the definition of process control user requirements. Provide support to control system factory acceptance test at Vendor/supplier's site. Provide site assistance at start-up, with process control issues during commissioning and hand over to client. Skills / Qualifications

BS in Chemical Engineering with 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in the field Basic Knowledge of developing H&MB, PFD's, P&ID's, MSD's Ability to perform Hydraulic calculations and various equipment sizing Basic Knowledge in Relief and Blowdown calculations Ability of developing Process Simulation Company Overview
