Crane Operation: Operate the crane from a high-mounted cab, using controls to rotate the boom, extend the trolley, and raise/lower the hook to place materials accurately.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all site-specific and government safety regulations, monitor load weights to stay within the crane's capacity, and ensure safe travel routes are clear.
Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct daily inspections of the crane and its components to ensure they are in good working order before operation.
Communication: Coordinate with riggers and ground crew using hand signals or radios to receive instructions and ensure clear communication.
Material Handling: Lift, move, and position various materials such as steel beams, concrete, and heavy machinery onto or around the construction site.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and any reported issues.
Site Coordination: Work closely with construction teams and supervisors to interpret lift plans and ensure that materials are placed as required for assembly.
