Key Requirements & Skills:
Ability to measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately according to design and drawings.
Knowledge of tile adhesives, grout, and sealants.
Skilled in surface preparation (leveling, smoothing, and cleaning surfaces before tiling).
Ability to handle various tools: tile cutters, trowels, grinders, levels, and rubber mallets.
Understanding of pattern layout, alignment, and spacing for aesthetic finishes.
Ensure precision, symmetry, and proper alignment in all tiling works.
Follow workplace safety procedures, including proper handling of tools and materials.
Inspect finished work to meet quality standards.
Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good physical stamina for lifting tiles, bending, and standing for long periods.
Basic communication skills to coordinate with supervisors or clients.
Qualifications:
Basic education (high school or equivalent) is sufficient.
Technical training or apprenticeship in masonry, tiling, or construction (preferred).
Safety training certification (OSHA/NEBOSH or equivalent).
Trade-specific certificates in tiling or masonry work.
2-5 years of practical experience in tiling works for floors, walls, and ceilings.
