We are looking for a skilled Tiler to install, repair, and maintain tiles for floors, walls, and other surfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in construction or renovation projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate materials before tiling.
Measure and mark surfaces accurately to ensure proper tile placement.
Cut, shape, and lay tiles according to project specifications, using hand tools or power tools.
Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants to ensure durability and a professional finish.
Align tiles evenly and maintain consistent spacing, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Inspect completed work to identify and correct defects or irregularities.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as masons and carpenters, to complete projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Complete assigned projects within deadlines while ensuring quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Tiler or in a similar role.
Knowledge of different types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc.) and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, or specifications.
Attention to detail and precision in tile layout and finishing.
Physically fit to handle manual labor, lifting, and working in various positions.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Work Environment
On-site at construction, renovation, or residential/commercial projects.
May involve indoor or outdoor work.
