Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Ensure floors are properly swept, mopped, buffed, or polished to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting surfaces, disinfecting high-touch areas, and restocking supplies to promote hygiene standards. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of large equipment or specialized areas. Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams. Support residential painting or light maintenance projects as needed to keep facilities in top condition. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work within commercial or residential settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.
