To carry out civil maintenance works including masonry, painting, plastering, and minor carpentry as required to ensure proper upkeep of buildings and facilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesMasonry Works
Perform block work, bricklaying, plastering, and tile fixing.
Repair walls, floors, ceilings, and concrete structures.
Carry out grouting, patchwork, and surface preparation.
Painting Works
Prepare surfaces (scraping, sanding, filling cracks, primer application).
Mix paints and apply paint using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
Ensure smooth finishing, touch-ups, and color matching.
Conduct repainting works for walls, wooden surfaces, steel structures, etc.
General Civil Maintenance
Fix doors, windows, hinges, and fittings.
Assist in gypsum partitioning, ceiling repairs, and basic carpentry as needed.
Respond to maintenance complaints and perform corrective repairs.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Work Quality & Safety
Ensure all work is completed with high-quality workmanship.
Follow company safety standards and use PPE correctly.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Report any hazards, incidents, or required materials.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
2-4 years' experience
in masonry and painting (FM experience preferred).
Basic understanding of civil works, carpentry, and minor plumbing tasks.
Ability to read measurements and use tools properly.
Good communication skills in English or Hindi/Urdu.
Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
