Job Description

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and lay tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, or other materials) on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design specifications. Prepare surfaces by leveling, cleaning, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar. Align and position tiles with precision, ensuring uniform spacing and proper finishing. Apply grout and sealants, clean excess materials, and polish surfaces for a professional finish. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements. Repair and replace damaged tiles and surfaces as needed. Follow project drawings, blueprints, and supervisor instructions to meet required designs. Safely operate tools and equipment (tile cutters, grinders, trowels, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Tile Mason / Tile Setter. Knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, grouting, and installation techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision in finishing work. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work for extended periods. Basic understanding of workplace safety standards. Previous experience in the UAE/GCC construction industry is an advantage.

Skills:

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Problem-solving skills for surface preparation and finishing. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good communication with supervisors and colleagues.
