Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layout according to design plans.
Prepare and level surfaces for tiling, ensuring they are clean and dry.
Cut tiles to fit around edges, corners, and irregular spaces using tile cutters and power tools.
Mix and apply adhesives like mortar or mastic to set tiles in place.
Lay tiles in patterns, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
Apply grout between tiles and clean excess grout after installation.
Repair or replace cracked or damaged tiles and grout.
Perform finishing tasks such as polishing, sealing, and waterproofing.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure the design and installation meet expectations.
Maintain tools and equipment for tile work.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Tile Mason or in tile installation.
Proficiency in using tile-cutting tools, trowels, spacers, and grout applicators.
Strong knowledge of different tile types and installation techniques.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, sketches, and design plans.
Attention to detail and an eye for design and patterns.
Physical stamina for working on floors, walls, and ceilings.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to tiling and construction.
