Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans to determine work requirements.
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, or other materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces or into joints between bricks or blocks.
Align and position materials using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Cut and shape materials to fit specific dimensions using hand tools or power tools.
