We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying tiles for floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, cutting tiles, and ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring precise placement and alignment. Cut, shape, and set tiles using hand and power tools, ensuring a perfect fit and finish. Prepare and apply adhesive materials such as mortar or mastic to secure tiles. Level tiles to ensure a consistent surface, using leveling tools and techniques. Clean and prepare surfaces, removing old tiles, grout, and adhesives as needed. Apply grout between tiles and clean excess grout for a polished finish. Seal and polish tiles to protect against moisture and damage. Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to achieve the desired design and pattern. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other team members on installation projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Adhere to safety protocols and building codes to ensure safe and compliant installations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Tile Mason or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings. Proficient in using tile cutting tools, saws, trowels, and other masonry equipment. Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts. Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for lifting heavy materials. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of various tile types, installation techniques, and materials. Familiarity with safety guidelines and building codes.
