Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing as required.
Measure and mark surfaces according to tile layout plans.
Cut tiles using hand tools or power equipment to fit around obstacles.
Apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants to install tiles securely.
Align tiles and ensure consistent spacing using spacers and levels.
Install different types of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and mosaic.
Remove and replace broken or damaged tiles and grout.
Ensure high-quality finishing and cleanup of completed work areas.
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
Proven experience as a tile mason or similar role.
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and drawings.
Knowledge of various tile types, adhesives, and installation techniques.
Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
Attention to detail and ability to produce neat, level finishes.
Ability to work independently or as part of a construction team.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
