We are seeking a skilled Tile Mason to join our team. The Tile Mason will be responsible for laying and setting tiles to create visually appealing surfaces for floors, walls, ceilings, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret designs and blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Work Area:
Measure and mark surfaces to lay tiles accurately.
Clean and level the surface to be tiled.
Prepare materials, including mixing adhesives and grouting.
Tile Installation:
Cut tiles to fit corners, edges, or special designs using hand and power tools.
Align and space tiles using spacers to ensure even spacing and proper alignment.
Apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place.
Finishing Work:
Fill joints between tiles with grout and remove excess.
Polish and clean completed tile surfaces to enhance appearance.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret designs, plans, or blueprints to understand project requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed.
Safety and Maintenance:
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures on-site.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience as a Tile Mason or similar role.
Knowledge of tile laying techniques, materials, and tools.
Skills:
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Attention to detail with strong craftsmanship.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including construction sites.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Vocational training in masonry is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
