Job Summary:

The Tile Mason will be responsible for installing a variety of tile materials including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, knowledge of proper installation techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately according to design and layout plans. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives. Install tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Mix and apply mortar, grout, and sealants for a professional finish. Repair and replace damaged tiles or grout. Ensure work complies with safety standards and project specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a tile mason, preferably in pool construction or renovation. Ability to work with various types of tiles including mosaic, ceramic, and glass. Skilled in using tile-cutting tools and hand tools. Good understanding of adhesives, grouts, and waterproofing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or plans. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and precision. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
