Interpret
technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

Set up and operate welding machines and tools in accordance with safety procedures.
Inspect and ensure the quality of welds meets company and industry standards.
Fit, align, and weld components using clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
Grind, clean, and polish welds as required to meet finish specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Work independently or as part of a fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
Identify and report defects or required rework to supervisors.
Assist in general fabrication tasks, such as cutting, bending, or assembling metal parts, as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
TIG welder
in a steel fabrication environment.
Ability to weld
stainless steel, carbon steel, and other metals
to a high standard.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting
engineering drawings and blueprints
.
Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, measuring equipment, and welding machinery.
Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
