to run, monitor, and maintain the thermoforming machines used for manufacturing plastic/disposable products. The operator will be responsible for machine setup, quality checks, troubleshooting, and maintaining smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation
Operate and monitor thermoforming machines .
Start-up, shut-down, and adjust machine settings based on production requirements.
2. Quality Control
Inspect products for defects such as cracks, burns, uneven thickness, or deformities.
Ensure all products meet company quality standards.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform minor mechanical adjustments to maintain proper machine function.
Identify and resolve machine issues (temperature imbalance, air pressure issues, mold alignment, etc.).
4. Mold Handling
Assist in mold changeover as per production schedule.
Ensure molds are cleaned, installed correctly, and secured safely.
5. Production Documentation
Maintain daily production reports (output, scrap, downtime).
Record machine parameters and batch details accurately.
6. Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Keep the machine area clean and organized.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
High school diploma or technical/vocational certification preferred.
Experience
1-3 years of experience operating thermoforming machines (manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic).
Technical Skills
Knowledge of machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cutting, molding).
Soft Skills
Good communication skills.
Time management.
Physical Requirements
Flexible to work night shifts or overtime when required.
