As an Electrical Testing Engineer , you will be responsible for conducting field and laboratory testing of electrical equipment, systems, and components to ensure they meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and success of our electrical projects.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Performing commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgears, cables, circuit breakers, motors, relays, and protection systems)
Conducting both routine and type tests as per international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.)
Preparing detailed test reports, analysis, and recommendations
Collaborating with design, maintenance, and project teams to resolve technical issues
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and documentation procedures
Calibrating and maintaining test equipment and instruments
Supporting FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Testing/ Site Acceptance Testing) processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or field service
Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures, standards, and instrumentation
Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as Megger, TTR, CT Analyzers, Relay Test Kits, PD Detectors, etc.
Familiarity with power system software (ETAP, SKM, or similar) is a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Willingness to travel to site locations as needed
