Performance TesterExp: 4 to 7 Yrs Role Profile:A 'hands-on' technical role with a focus on non functional areas - performance, scalability, databases and securityWith a clear understanding of system, Testers are highly proficient in designing performance test suites and in using various testing techniques.Requires flexibility, accuracy and a strong sense of ownership.Knowledge & Experience:Should be 3-6 years of experience into Testing and must have a good knowledge of Testing fundamentals and its application.Retail and Warehouse management experience would be advantageous.Strong knowledge of Agile QA methodology, tools and experience in quality engineering.Experience with performance, scalability and reliability testing methodologies.Experience testing high quality, high availability customer facing applications.Hands on experience on performance (load, throughput) and failover testing, measuring system utilization, response time and latencies.Experience with load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, Locust, WebLoad, Load Runner.Experience with API performance/load testing.Excellent understanding of web/N tier architecture.Ability to analyze architectures, point out performance bottlenecks, limitations, optimizations and resolutions.Understanding of performance monitoring counters such as response time, throughput, latency, and memory. Knowledge of New Relic, Dynatrace, Fiddler,Charles Proxy and security testing for OWASP vulnerabilities is a plusThe below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:Analyse requirements and the test data needs.Create test cases, scripts and traceability matrix.Understand the system and come up with non functional test planCoordinate with the development teams (including vendor) to ensure that all the understandings / requirement are met.Help analyse the impact of the change on the system and identify the performance impact.Execute the test cases manually, understand and derive the performance scriptPresent test-case walk-through / script readiness walkthroughFollowing the required set standardsAnalyzing the testing results and submitting the report to the stakeholders.Ensure that the testing is carried out as per the defined standards and proceduresEnsure that test-product documentation is completeFocus on continuous testing improvements.About Us:Alshaya Group is a dynamic family-owned enterprise which was first established in Kuwait in 1890.
