Our Client is a leading company in the sheet metal forming. they manufacture customized products upon the customer's request.
for Dubai branch:

• Studying Tenders to understand the nature of Project and Contract.
• Reviewing provided Contract, BOQ, Drawings and Specifications for the new Project.
• Receiving quotations from Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors
• Make sure that the quotations comply with the Employer required and provided Specifications
• Prepare comparison Sheet for rates Quoted by Sub Contractors and suppliers
• Prepare the BOQ to receive the Dry Cost unit rates.
• Breakdown BOQ items that will not be assigned to Subcontractors in order to properly price them
• Using unit rates for materials and equipment
• Perform quantity take off for lump sum project or items
• Finalizing the Commercial Offer including priced BOQ
• Responding to Post-Tender Clarification from clients.
• Analysis post tender with low and high method

• Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
• Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
• Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solidworks or other)
• Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
• Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView etc)
• Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
• Technical writing skills
• BSc degree in Engineering
