Job Description

The Tender & Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and proposal process. This includes analyzing bid opportunities, coordinating inputs from various departments, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals, and developing winning strategies to secure contracts in line with the company's commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and tender documents to assess requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead the proposal planning process, setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Estimation, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Procurement to gather all necessary inputs.
• Oversee the preparation of technical, commercial, and financial proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
• Develop bid strategies, value propositions, and differentiators tailored to each opportunity.
• Conduct risk analysis and ensure all proposals are vetted for contractual, legal, and financial exposure.
• Maintain an organized tender tracker, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in tendering, proposals, or business development, preferably in [industry].
• Proven track record of managing large, complex proposals.
• Familiarity with local and international tendering regulations and platforms.
