Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Tender Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals in response to tender requirements. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and other departments to ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions.Key Responsibilities:
Analyse tender documents and identify key requirements. Prepare and coordinate complete tender submissions, including technical proposals, pricing, and compliance documents. Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project teams for input and cost estimation. Review contractual terms and highlight commercial and technical risks. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required. Monitor tender status and follow up on submitted bids. Maintain a database of past tenders, suppliers, and pricing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). 5-10 years of experience in tendering, proposals, or estimating (industry-specific experience preferred). Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, contract terms, and bid strategies. Proficiency in MS Office and tendering software. Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
