A telesales executive will involve in contacting prospective and current customers via phone and as and when needed to visit clients to promote and sell a company's products or services, answer product questions, and secure sales. Key duties include using sales scripts, qualifying leads, processing orders, documenting interactions, meeting sales targets, and building customer relationships to drive repeat business. Strong communication, persuasion, and goal-oriented skills are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities:
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product & services
Answer questions about products and the company
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
Enter and update customer information in the database
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation
Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
