The Telephone Operator is responsible for professionally handling all incoming and outgoing calls, providing accurate information, transferring calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, and ensuring excellent communication flow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and route all incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
Handle internal and external communication lines and ensure messages are accurately recorded and delivered.
Provide information to callers regarding company services, departments, and contact persons.
Maintain updated telephone and contact directories.
Handle emergency calls and assist in following established procedures during emergencies.
Monitor and report any telephone system faults to the IT or maintenance department.
Support reception or front desk operations as required.
Maintain confidentiality of all communications and sensitive information.
Follow company standards, grooming, and communication etiquette at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in communication or customer service is a plus.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a telephone operator or in a similar customer service role.
Fluent in English (Arabic or additional languages an advantage).
Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
Professional appearance and polite demeanor.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with telephone/PBX systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Work Environment
Based in office, hotel, or facility front-office area.
May require shift-based work, including weekends and holidays, depending on operational needs.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,600.00 per month
