Position Summary
We are seeking a professional and courteous Telephone Operator to manage incoming and outgoing calls, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure efficient communication flow within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCall Management
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally using proper telephone etiquette
Route calls to appropriate departments or personnel efficiently
Take detailed and accurate messages when recipients are unavailable
Handle call transfers, holds, and conference calls as needed
Manage high call volumes during peak business hours
Customer Service
Provide general information about company services, hours, and locations
Address basic customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism
Escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisors or departments
Maintain a positive and helpful attitude in all customer interactions
Follow up on customer concerns when necessary
Administrative Support
Maintain accurate call logs and message records
Update and maintain telephone directories and contact lists
Process routine requests for information or services
Assist with appointment scheduling when required
Support reception duties during breaks or busy periods
Technical Operations
Operate multi-line telephone systems and related equipment
Monitor and test communication systems for proper functioning
Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly
Maintain knowledge of company phone system features and capabilities
Required QualificationsEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service or telephone operations preferred
Experience with multi-line phone systems advantageous
Skills and Competencies
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
Clear speaking voice with proper pronunciation and grammar
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
