PURPOSE OF POSITION
To perform all aspects of Telecommunications services to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction in accordance with the Hotel's standards.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
xc2xb7 Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously
xc2xb7 Ensure smooth internal telecommunication as per Raffles Standards
xc2xb7 Accurately record and control wake-up calls
xc2xb7 Assist guests with international calls and directory queries
xc2xb7 Call guests by name whenever possible
xc2xb7 Page staff member when requested
xc2xb7 Abide by principles of guest privacy
xc2xb7 Handle guests requests promptly and report complaints to the Telephone Supervisor
xc2xb7 Bill call costs
xc2xb7 Aware of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers
xc2xb7 Strictly abides by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency such as fire, bomb scare and other critical situations
xc2xb7 Advise defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor
xc2xb7 Maintain a clean work environment
xc2xb7 Maintain detailed knowledge of the Hotel's fire, life and safety system
xc2xb7 Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
xc2xb7 Secondary Education or relevant qualifications in Hotel Management.
EXPERIENCE
xc2xb7 Minimum 1 year relevant experience preferably in a four or five star hotel
