We are currently looking for a Telematics Technician at Tenderd. We are looking for someone with past experience with Automobile, Heavy Equipment and Electric Power Generation. Past experience in Telematics is preferred, ideally with a focus on GPS trackers, fleet management tracking products. What you will be doing:
The Technician will be working with both internal teams and external customers in relation to digital services work, installation, test, repair/troubleshooting and maintenance of telematics equipment. What can we offer

Preferred skills / past experience

• 5+ years experience as a Telematics Technician
• History of working with fleet & asset management systems
• Experience reading and interpreting vehicle schematics
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• A strong work ethic and ability to communicate well, especially around complex and sophisticated technology products and solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Possesses the ability to diagnose electrical systems (subsystems) down to component level without supervision; also able to read, follow, understand, and communicate schematics.
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable in a start-up environment
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Currently in UAE

Who are we looking for

• Lead and/or perform installations at customer sites for strategic pilot, rollout or beta customers.
• Works to optimize field visits to increase installation/diagnostic efficiencies

Work with installation and repair of other technology and telematics devices

• Has ability to work independently and can make sound judgment decisions independently. Assumes responsibility for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex equipment and tools, which involve mechanical, hydraulic, gas, diesel, and electrical systems at branch or customer locations
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, adheres to all safety procedures; to include wearing appropriate PPE at all times, maintains a service vehicle in a clean and professional manner, and ensures the vehicle is always properly maintained
• Provide device installation, support and expertise using Tenderd devices (Telematics, Sensors, Camera)
• Collect and provide technical vehicle installation information to the internal team and knowledge base coordinator to produce installation Guides, manuals and videos.
• Communicates job status (Installation, Troubleshooting and completion) with supervisor to receive the subsequent assignment.
• Work closely with Product team on new product development, testing and documentation
• Define installation/best practices procedures for all new products
