Job Title: Telecom Engineer-Nokia Mobile Network

Location: UAE

Department: Telecom Operations / Network Deployment

Reporting To: Project Manager / Technical Lead

Job Purpose:

To manage the installation, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Nokia mobile network systems (2G/3G/4G/5G) in UAE, ensuring high network performance, compliance with Nokia standards, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, commission, and integrate Nokia RAN equipment including BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and gNodeB.

2. Conduct site surveys, pre-checks, and technical readiness assessments before installation.

3. Coordinate with RF, transmission, and core teams during integration and troubleshooting phases.

4. Perform software configuration, hardware checks, and initial testing on-site.

5. Analyze alarms and KPIs to ensure optimal network performance and stability.

6. Use Nokia-specific tools such as NetAct, OSS, UPT, and BTS Site Manager for network management.

7. Support network rollout, modernization, and swap activities as per project plan.

8. Maintain documentation including site reports, integration sheets, and as-built drawings.

9. Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

10. Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal departments for smooth execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

2. 2-5 years of experience working with Nokia mobile network equipment.

3. Strong understanding of Nokia RAN technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G).

4. Experience with NetAct, OSS, LTE/5G integration, and troubleshooting.

5. Good knowledge of transmission systems (Microwave/IP preferred).

6. Ability to work independently in field environments across UAE.

7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

8. Proficient in MS Office and basic networking tools.

9. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

10. Valid UAE driving license.

Preferred Certifications:

1. Nokia Certified Engineer (if available)

2. Basic HSE or First Aid Certification (optional but preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
