Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Telecom Engineer will be responsible for the installation, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Nokia telecom equipment and related network infrastructure. The role ensures smooth implementation of Nokia projects while maintaining compliance with industry standards, project timelines, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of

Nokia BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and gNodeB

equipment. Carry out

software upgrades, parameter configurations, and feature activations

as per project requirements. Conduct

site surveys, technical assessments, and acceptance testing (ATP)

for new and upgraded sites. Perform

troubleshooting and fault rectification

for hardware, software, and transmission issues. Ensure proper

alarm monitoring, fault escalation, and corrective action

to maintain service continuity. Work closely with Nokia NOC (Network Operations Center) and customer teams for project delivery. Prepare and maintain detailed

technical documentation, site reports, and test records.

Ensure compliance with

health, safety, and quality standards

during field operations. Provide technical support and training to riggers/technicians as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones within timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in

Telecommunications / Electrical / Electronics Engineering

or related field. 2-5 years of experience in

Nokia telecom equipment installation and integration

. Strong knowledge of

Nokia RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G), IP Networking, and Transmission

systems. Hands-on experience with

Nokia NetAct, OSS tools, and integration procedures.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site layouts, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in field conditions. Good communication and reporting skills in English. Willingness to travel and work in challenging environments.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Nokia certification(s) in

RAN/Integration/Transmission

. Experience in multi-vendor telecom projects. Familiarity with

fiber optics, microwave transmission, and IP networking.

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
