Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Telecom Engineer

to support our engineering team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Telecom Design and Engineering for the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East, preferably Qatar.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of experience

in

design and engineering

(Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design) for

Oil & Gas / Industrial Telecom

projects in the

Middle East

Prior work experience in

Qatar

is highly preferred
Proficient in designing the following Telecom systems for onshore/offshore applications:

Information and Communications Technology:

LAN, WLAN, Telephony

Radio Systems:

VHF, UHF, DMR, Microwave

Security and Surveillance:

Access Control, CCTV, PIDS

Public Address & Life Safety:

PAGA, Page Party

Marine Safety and Communications

Entertainment and Lifestyle Systems

Cabinets, OSP/ISP Cabling and Infrastructure

Capable of performing

site surveys

to prepare engineering deliverables
Skilled in developing detailed telecom documentation, including:

Telecom Site Survey Reports Design Basis, Specifications, Datasheets Block & Wiring Diagrams, Layouts Installation Details, Calculations, Schedules MTOs, Material Requisitions (MR), etc.
Strong communication and client coordination skills
Experience attending internal and external meetings
Experience working with

QatarEnergy

and

Qatar Shell GTL

is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
