Telecom Commissioning Technicians
for OffshoreQualifications:
BOSIET/ MIST/ CA- EBS certification for Offshore workDegree/Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent diploma from recognised Universities Minimum 5-7 years Oil and Gas Industry experience in Telecom system commissioning Proficiency in Telecom system commissioning related software tools. Mandatory HSE Training (Induction, Risk Assessment etc) IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
Description:
To execute Telecommunication system pre-commissioning and commissioning work scope in a safe manner and in accordance with contract specifications /requirements and schedule Provide support to the Telecom Commissioning Engineer Under safe systems of work, function testing of Telecom installations and equipment in both Offshore work scope will require working in Hazardous areas and therefore the candidate MUST be COMPEX trained and able to demonstrate a good understanding of the risks associated with working in a Hazardous areas.
Key Objective:
To perform the work in accordance with the specified safety standards / project requirements / work packs To support the commissioning team to function test the Telecom system in accordance with project technical procedures
