Job Title Technology Project Specialist

Description

Our client is a SaaS technology-based company specializing in biometrics, RFID and data analytics technology. As part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE experienced software project specialist to operationally manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including project planning, kickoff, resource planning and software development in an Agile environment.

Candidates must also be able to demonstrate their capabilities in meeting project milestones, release schedules, project, product and people management and deliver end to end software development projects.

Role Summary

• Develop project plans utilizing MS Project and lead project status reviews utilizing Azure DevOps or Jira to deliver on-time and in-budget projects.

• Recommend continuous improvement of systems, processes and software through data analysis, metrics and project reviews.

• Lead software development, deployment and application integration projects by identifying project scope and dependencies, deliverables, bottlenecks, critical paths, resources and budget.

• Identify project risks, mitigate risks and escalate major issues.

• Carry out change impact and project burn analysis.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' software project management experience with strong project lifecycle experience to drive design, architecture, quality, performance testing and implementation.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project or Confluence.

• 2 years' experience in leading a DevOps team.

• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously from scope to concept and release.

• Strong experience of working with clean code, modern software architecture design, cloud infrastructure and test-driven development with a focus on project management and client delivery.

• Good command of written and verbal English with the ability to write clear and concise English.

• UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be to live and work in Dubai.

• Fluent in English - must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
