Job Description
A leading FinTech company in Riyadh is seeking a Technology Director to drive the delivery of large-scale, innovative fintech solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on tech leader with deep expertise in software engineering, architecture and Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical vision across multiple projects
- Ensure alignment with SAMA regulations, security, and scalability goals
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across time zones
- Oversee architecture, engineering, QA, DevOps, and delivery functions
- Act as technical liaison with clients and stakeholders
- Drive agile practices, CI/CD, and innovation (AI, automation, etc.)
- Manage risk, vendor integration, compliance, and documentation
- Collaborate with legal/governance teams on regulatory obligations
- 15+ years in senior technical leadership roles (CTO-level experience preferred)
- Proven fintech or banking background
- Track record of delivering complex, distributed tech projects
- Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must be onsite in Saudi Arabia (Sunday-Thursday workweek)
