We're hiring an entry-level Operations Technician to monitor data feeds, identify and resolve system issues, and support internal teams and clients with IT-related queries.
Job duties:
? Monitoring and maintenance of established data feeds within the Auto Operations (Ops) System as well as the Prices feeds.
? Troubleshoot and resolve exception issues in data delivery processes.
? Maintenance of hardware/software required for day-to-day operations of the firm.
? Write/edit scripts for Ops functions using SQL, VBS, PowerShell, and Batch formats in addition to use of our automation software.
? Implementation of new data feeds to our Auto Ops System.
? Set up and maintain client FTP accounts.
? Network monitoring and reporting.
? Liaise with internal Support and external clients via email.
? Maintain documentation for reporting, knowledge database, benchmarking, Ops manual, hardware/ software lists, Change log requests.
Requirements:
? Flexible availability for both day and night shifts (with night shifts handled remotely)
? Business level English.
? Strong understanding of networking protocols, server operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing.
? Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving.
? Documentation and Knowledge Management.
? Strong communication in English language.
? Strong reading skills with strict attention to detail.
? Good written communication skills.
? Flexibility in working hours.
