The Facilities Technician must have a wide set of skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electricity and machinery etc. Must have a clean background and ability to work various shift timings including evenings, weekends and public holidays. This is a full-time position. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.
Responsibilities
Reports to the Operations Manager
Follow regular maintenance procedures and record all actions taken
Prepare regular maintenance reports and records
Perform regular and emergency maintenance for all components and spaces
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Communicate any needs or concerns to the appropriate staff as necessary
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Support the Operations Manager in the training and supervising of cleaning staff
Support the safety of the building by proactively supporting the security guards and guest service teams
