Play Your Part

In this role you assist the facility Shifts that operate within the facility maintenance department. You will manage the, statutory inspection of all the building and park facility associated equipment via the application of a planned preventative maintenance approach with the aim of maximising the equipment availability and safety in operation.
The role calls for strong leadership skills and an ability to clearly focus on the planning & preparation of the activities administered by the facility maintenance teams.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinating the task of beautifying and enhancing the aesthetic of the park

Prepare the props / visual display materials for roadshows and press conferences.

Proactive contribution of creative ideas, innovation and concepts.

Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.

Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events - Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.

Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve

production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.

Coaching and Developing Others - Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

Orders and purchases all equipment, tools and supplies associated with the mechanical trades.

Ensures that all maintenance MCs follow the Merlin, LEGOLAND and departmental policies at all times.

Are You a Star?

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Art & Design and related field.

A minimum of five (4) years or more experience in the Art & Design field with Theme Park/ Amusement Park experience.

Job-Specific Skills:

Creating and updating visual presentations and maintaining visual standards to the overall theme park appearance and environment.

Good knowledge in preventive maintenance system and proficiency in Adobe Software, and Microsoft.

Familiar with painting, sculpturing and theme.
