Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Auto Technician

to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform regular vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, filter replacements, and tire rotations. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in passenger vehicles using diagnostic tools and scanners. Repair or replace faulty parts including brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and engine components. Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs. Follow manufacturer guidelines and company procedures for all repair and service work. Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper performance and issue resolution. Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and time taken in job cards or service reports. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools and equipment are used safely. Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding repairs and timelines. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and attend training sessions as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Auto Technician or similar role (focus on cars). Technical diploma or certification in automotive technology or related field. Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC). Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals or schematics. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts/tools as needed. Valid driver's license (preferred). Team player with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
