Traders Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu DhabiEngineering DepartmentWe have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join the team in our Engineering Department. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of Engineering professionals.What are we looking for?
- Experience in Hotel field.
- Strong knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical systems, HVAC, and General repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Lives and breathes the Shangri-La values.
- Monitor, Operate and Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
- Execution of preventative maintenance plan and the works order control system.
- Remain ready to assist engineering colleagues in their daily duties.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, and electrical work.
- Ensure that all systems (heating, cooling, plumbing, etc.) are functioning efficiently.
- Address and fix any issues promptly, including repairing appliances, fixing leaks, and patching walls.
- Coordinate with contractors for more extensive repairs when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty appliances.
- Be available for emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues.
- Ensure 24/7 availability for critical situations.
- Provide regular updates on the condition of the property.
