Technician Electrician
Rixos Marina Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician Electrician. As a Technician Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within our establishment. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting electrical issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance.

What you will be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Diagnose electrical malfunctions, locate the source of the problem, and perform necessary repairs.

\xc2\xb7 Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment as needed.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other engineering team members to identify and resolve electrical issues.

\xc2\xb7 Respond promptly to guest requests and address any electrical problems in guest rooms or public areas.

\xc2\xb7 Keep accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs performed.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with other engineering tasks and projects as assigned.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 Certification or license as an Electrician.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Electrician in a hospitality setting or similar environment.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and conducting repairs.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and customer service skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

\xc2\xb7 Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physicals aspects include but are not limited to:

\xc2\xb7 Constant standing and walking throughout shift

\xc2\xb7 Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

\xc2\xb7 Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

\xc2\xb7 Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
