Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Check with Team Leader in beginning of the shift on the job tasks assigned and confirm anything is outstanding before starting the shift.
- Ensure proper written handover after each shift.
- Liaise with respective departments who issued the work request, discuss the details, make necessary arrangements and set the schedule to finalize the work and communicate with team lead for permit to complete the engineering job
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are well maintained and handled with care
- Keep a daily log of tasks assigned and completed
- Follow the PPM schedule and communicate with team lead on the progress and constrains
- Inspects property buildings and facilities for needed services and repairs.
- Record the Meter readings accurately
- Attend to guest complaint or service request to increase the guest satisfaction and working order of the hotel.
- Maintains building interiors and exteriors. Have basic knowledge on civil works.
- Have primitive and basic troubleshooting Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing system of the hotel.
- Adhere to safety standards of the department and the company.
- Observe cleanliness of work area and ensure proper asset management of the hotel.
- Attend to trainings as scheduled by team leader or department head
- Maintain the inventory level of engineering consumables and ensure the requirements of spare parts and consumables required for job completion are ordered by team lead and keep track of the requests.
- Show the willingness to assist other team members within the team to achieve the department goal.
Qualifications
\xc2\xb7 Has minimum of 1 year of solid experience in Engineering operations.
- Has English communication in both written and spoken.
- Has ability to use technician hand tools and systems.
- Has excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Has a Diploma or successfully completed apprenticeship as a technician.
