Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Technician - Electrical & Power Plant

to support daily

operation and maintenance of electrical power systems

across Etisalat facilities. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, emergency response, and ensuring compliance with Etisalat and international quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperation & Maintenance

Perform day-to-day

preventive maintenance

of UPS, DC systems, generators, LV panels, battery banks, and power distribution systems. Assist in

troubleshooting and fault rectification

of all electrical power systems. Conduct

periodic inspections

to identify discrepancies and potential failures. Support

installation and commissioning

of electrical and power plant systems. Review drawings and inspect new installations; coordinate with project teams and contractors. Monitor daily alarms and ensure timely closure of all pending call-outs. Attend

after-hours call-outs

and emergency fault rectification when required. Perform

load testing

of DC power plants and battery systems prior to technical acceptance. Assist in fabrication and installation of

DC Power Distribution Boards

at assigned sites.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with

Etisalat quality standards

and international best practices. Follow disaster recovery and crisis management procedures during system failures. Maintain accurate

technical logs, maintenance records, and reports

.

Reporting & Coordination

Assist in preparing

management reports

, fault analysis, and performance reports. Request required tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure availability. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements &Education

Diploma or ITI

in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (mandatory)

Experience

4-5 years

of hands-on experience in: Electrical power systems Facilities Management or Total Facilities Management (TFM) environments

Certifications & Licenses

Valid UAE Driving License

(mandatory)

Technical Skills & Competencies

Operation and maintenance of

power systems and electrical drawings

Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and power plant systems Preventive and corrective maintenance planning Operational reporting and fault analysis Knowledge of engineering standards, manuals, and procedures Basic workforce and contractor coordination skills Familiarity with

Facilities Management standards

Experience with

Maximo or similar FM software

is a plus

Pay: AED4,800.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
