To perform installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across facilities to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including chillers, split units, VRF systems, cold storage, walk-in freezers, etc.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems and refrigeration units.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule or assigned work orders.
Recharge systems with refrigerants as per regulations and environmental standards.
Check system performance, airflow, duct connections, and thermostat settings.
Ensure that all HVAC and refrigeration work complies with safety codes and standards.
Replace worn-out or defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
Monitor inventory and request spare parts or tools as required.
Maintain records of work done, time taken, and materials used.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies during or after working hours as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
ITI/Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or related technical certification.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems, preferably in a facility management or building maintenance environment.
