Job Description
Summary
Duties and tasks related to the Technician role include:
Being responsible for carrying out any required engineering or maintenance tasks Performing repairs and maintenance in guest bedrooms, public and back of house areas, ensuring they are maintained to a high level and exceed guest expectations Conducting general repairs and maintenance including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and compliant with required standards and safety regulations Completing planned preventive maintenance within the plant rooms, bedrooms and public areas Regularly inspect the entire building with particular attention to safety features and to monitor the condition of all operating equipment Working closely with the security departing in overseeing Health & Safety Qualifications
Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management desirable * Minimum 2 years work experience as Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or 4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant
