Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Machine Technician

to join our tissue manufacturing plant in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain tissue manufacturing machines (converting, rewinding, cutting, and packaging lines). Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on all machinery to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to ensure continuous production flow. Adjust machine settings and parameters to achieve production targets and quality standards. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to improve machine performance and efficiency. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the plant. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs. Assist in machine installation, upgrades, and modifications when required. Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce breakdowns.

Requirements

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (or related field). Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as a technician in a paper/tissue manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Hands-on experience with tissue converting and packaging machines is highly preferred. Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent breakdowns when required.

Preferred Skills

Experience with PLC systems and automation. Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
