Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious

Technician

to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery and systems within our manufacturing facility in

Abu Dhabi

. The Technician will ensure machinery uptime, diagnose equipment issues, and comply with

UAE health and safety regulations

, including

OSHAD

and

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence

standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repairs

Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, tools, and utilities. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance checks and report potential failures.

Machine Operation & Support

Assist in installation, commissioning, and calibration of machines. Ensure machines operate within defined tolerances and safety parameters. Support production teams in minimizing downtime.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate service and maintenance logs. Follow company SOPs and report safety incidents or equipment failures immediately. Ensure all activities comply with

OSHAD

,

EHS

, and

Abu Dhabi Municipality

guidelines.

Health & Safety

Use PPE correctly and participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and audits. Identify and report hazards in the work area. Adhere to

Civil Defence-approved

fire and electrical safety practices.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a relevant technical field. Trade certificate (if applicable) from a recognized institution.

Experience:

2-5 years in a similar technician role, preferably in a

manufacturing or industrial environment

. Hands-on experience with machinery used in metal, plastic, food, or construction-related industries.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, motors, and power tools. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Understanding of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.

Preferred:

Previous experience in

Abu Dhabi's ICAD/KIZAD or a free zone factory

. Familiarity with

preventive maintenance systems (CMMS)

. Arabic or English communication; Hindi/Urdu is a plus for site coordination.
