The role includes reviewing technical documents, conducting inspections, managing QA/QC documentation, and liaising with consultants and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Responsibilities:
Review design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with specifications and authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings and material submittals.
Provide technical support and guidance during project execution phases.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Quality Assurance & Control:
Develop and implement project-specific
Quality Control Plans
and
Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
.
Perform inspections and testing of construction works (civil, structural, architectural, and MEP coordination as needed).
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, etc.).
Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, test results, and quality-related documentation.
Identify non-conformances and issue
NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
as required.
Ensure timely rectification and close-out of NCRs.
Coordinate third-party testing and inspection agencies when necessary.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to
QHSE policies
, local building codes, and authority regulations.
Maintain logs for materials, drawings, RFIs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, etc.
Prepare daily/weekly QA QC reports for management and client review.
Assist in project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum
5 years of UAE experience
in high-rise buildings.
Strong knowledge of
construction methods

QA/QC procedures
, and
local authority approvals
.
Familiar with
international standards
(BS, ASTM, ISO 9001, etc.).
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Certifications like
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

QMS training
are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with main contractors or large-scale developers in the UAE.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of BIM and digital QA/QC tools is a plus.
