Position Overview
The Technical Superintendent role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports a reputable shipowner and regional logistics provider within the maritime sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned vessels meet required technical standards, performance benchmarks, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and manage vessel certificates and documentation in a systematic and timely manner
  • Implement and monitor the company planned maintenance system effectively
  • Prepare, arrange, and manage class, statutory, and other mandatory vessel surveys
  • Plan, manage, and supervise dry-docking projects and major repair activities
  • Monitor vessel condition and coordinate maintenance and repair works with shipyards and service providers
  • Review crew technical performance and promote continuous improvement standards
  • Prepare, manage, and control technical budgets for assigned vessels
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth technical operations
Ideal Profile
  • Tanker seagoing experience as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer with minimum COC Class 2 or 3
  • Alternatively, at least two years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent handling oil or bunker tankers
  • Strong understanding of tanker vessel systems, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
  • High level of integrity and professional conduct
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
