Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Plan and execute dry-docking and repair projects, managing budgets and timelines effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of vessels to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with ship crews, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely repairs.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, class requirements, and industry standards.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar role in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of ship systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to managing technical challenges.
- Ability to travel to vessels and shipyards as needed.
