Job Description
Ensure vessels operate with minimum down-time and maximum utilization Troubleshooting of engines/machinery defect and repair
Technical Follow-up and Maintenance
Daily technical follow-up of the ships assigned Check and adjust the weekly/monthly work list, in consultation with the captain/chief engineer and Technical Manager Follow up the technical performances of the ships by means of communication, reports and visits on board, in order to optimize the maintenance level Prepare repair specifications for subcontractors and follow-ups their execution Daily technical follow up of auxiliary equipment in collaboration with Technical Manager Evaluate technical shortcomings or wear and tear of the ship and make suggestions for improvement in consultation with the Captain, the Chief Engineer, and Technical ManagerMARINE SHIPPING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
