Synopsis

The Store Supervisor reports to the Manager Materials & Tooling/ GSE Stores for all stores related activities, ensuring that all functions and requirements are fulfilled and Coordinated in accordance with Etihad Airways and Aviation Authorities requirements.

Accountabilities

• Ensures that the operational requirements of the store including Material, Tooling, GSE and vehicles are carried out in compliance with the Company policy, TPM and procedures and in accordance with the GCAA standards and regulations as applicable and ensures the smooth running of the store.
• Constantly reviews leave of absence, accident reports and sickness documentation and taking the necessary action accordingly.
• Supports all audit requirements for internal and external audits.
• Ensures that any corrective action resulting from a Quality Assurance program related audit finding is handled in a timely manner and is effective in preventing re-occurrence of deficiencies.
• Gives a good example for discipline and accuracy in his duties and motivates staff to follow these accordingly.
• Mentors and manages the performance of all store staff and Accepts and plans appropriate training that will enable a professional performance of the duties
• Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Keeps control of airport passes and permits of the vehicles and equipment.
• Follows up workshop inputs and assure shortest turnaround times for repair.
• Ensures the weekly checks of cars and GSE are correctly done by the shifts. Follows up incidents and damages made to the GSE and vehicles.
• Ensures all GSE is maintained according the maintenance schedule.
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory list of all GSE, Tooling and Materials.
• Follows up Tool sign in and out process and advises the Manager Materials & Tooling/GSE Stores When deviations are observed and Keeps log and action log for lost tools.
• Reviews working practices to ensure that the best utilization of all resources is maintained and related improvements are initiated as applicable.
• Ensures that the stores are kept clean and continuously organized in an orderly manner at the highest standards.

• Ensures compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Implements SMS systems and processes and ensure formal Risk Assessments are carried out for operationally significant changes.
• Provides the appropriate time, training, resources and encouragement to Etihad employees to support their involvement in the on-going development of Etihad\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System and safety culture

Education & Experience

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years aviation industry experience within Aircraft maintenance stores and logistics.
• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is preferable.
• In-depth understand of Materials, components, spares, and tooling.
• Understanding regulatory compliance (Internal and External) and efficiencies in delivering the components and tooling to the aircraft
• In addition, Strong AMOS background preferred with good communication and negotiation skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to communicate with diverse stake holders across all levels.
• Education: Must have completed High School and higher education courses related to the role or hold a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any engineering field.
