Technical Sales Support Specialist

You will be working as Technical Sales Support Specialist and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be reporting to Technical Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for supporting the local sales organization or customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process. Serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Your responsibilities

• Offering technical advice and providing comment on project enquiry specifications for customers, channels and sales engineers regarding ABB products, systems or applications
• Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs and proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
• Preparing and checking technical articles for publication and technical support letters as per project requirements
• Checking the project submittal drawings to verify selections are as per the ABB type tested solution

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in related field
• Experience on ABB Ability, Cloud installation and commissioning
• Understanding the electrical scope to support customers better
• Handling customer complains professionally and reporting
• Excellent communications skills
