As the Technical Sales Manager, you are responsible for optimizing Application Programme Interface (API/XML) clients, providing support for mapping and product display, and reporting on results in various areas whilst effectively adapting to the dynamic landscape of technical sales. Act as an important conduit between the sales and technical teams of Yalago, collaborating across departments, including the sales, technology, and product teams. Act as a technical lead in optimization groups and projects which will be instrumental in attaining financial objectives for each sales region.

In this role you will:
  • Analyse client performance to identify optimization strategies, encompassing troubleshooting, technical enhancements, and commercial recommendations across all available distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with the Yalago Product, Sales & API Support teams to streamline new API integrations, offering insights into partner technologies and advising on best practices to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with technical counterparts at client organizations throughout the region, serving as the central point of contact for technical matters to identify technical issues and provide recommendations to solve these issues.
  • Collaborate closely with global sales teams to present and promote our services and solutions, conducting conference calls, delivering presentations, assessing technical requirements and opportunities for growth, addressing objections, and crafting client set-up proposals.
  • Conduct quality assurance assessments on end-to-end integrations and client configuration before launch.
  • Using existing customer segmentation model, deploy a regular review process and carry this out quarterly
  • Act as Project Manager for all technical projects (large and small) for Yalago across the wider dnata Travel Group
  • Ownership of commercial agreements with all distribution partners of Yalago including cost management, negotiation, and optimisation
  • Optimise existing partner configuration and provide insights and recommendations into the impact of these optimisations through comprehensive reporting.
  • Monitor & optimise client traffic across platforms, clients, and suppliers.
  • Quarterly review of Customer Segmentation & relative downstream configuration.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B hotel distribution.
  • Have proficiency in REST API, XML, JSON, and related technologies and experience working with databases and SQL.

  • Knowledge of build management and continuous integration tools.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, with Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills considered a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, encompassing problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to solutions.
